This course is a basic yet extensive one day introduction to Passive House.  Learning objectives go from specifics like defining the Passive House Standard and explaining Space Heating and Cooling Demand to reviewing a range of case study projects including domestic and large scale commercial buildings.  Participants will get an overview of key construction elements like airtightness, thermal bridge free connections, windows and heat recovery ventilation as well as the PHPP software and key issues of Passive House design optimization.  6.5 AIA CES credits are offered.  Find out more and register here.
